- I don't think super hires modes are defined as standard, but you could
- probably create them (software is provided).

- Gfx cards use Fast RAM to store copies of open screens. The Gfx card's
- memory is used to hold only the currently displayed screen.

- A SVGA (38 kHz) monitor will do 800x600 @ 70 Hz non laced and 1024x768
- laced. A 48kHz monitor will do 1024x768 non-laced. I've got a 15->40 kHz
- multiscan which does 1024x768 laced @ 90Hz which is quite usable. My Picasso
- maxes out at 1600x1200 in 256 colours @ 63Hz laced : definitely for
- displaying pictures only ! (quite unusable on a 14" monitor).
